have twelve years experience as a professional performer. Working as a rapper, spoken word artist and actress. I also have ten years experience leading drama, rap, spoken word and creative writing workshops. As well as ten years experience in generic youth work.
I have a full CRB and I am passionate about working with young people. I have found joy and happiness through creative arts. I enjoy inspiring young people to find their happiness through creativity. I work using positive encouragement inspiring passion in each young person to feel comfortable to share their talents and to shine like bright stars.
My proficiency in providing vocational and everyday living skills to adolescents in various settings will assist your organisation to achieve its long term goals. Having creditable knowledge of adolescent development issues, peer pressure, substance abuse and delinquency, I can perform the duties of the youth worker in the most efficient manner.
I create workshops dealing with a range of issues facing young people tackled using performance art. Issues ranging from identity including LGBT, identity for young people in STC’s looking at behaviour, Bullying, safety in the summer. I cater and develop workshops working with schools and youth organisations.
I have a distinction in community theatre, I have been awarded funding from the Princes trust, the Scarmans trust, the Arts Council and PRS, creating projects to make a change for disaffected young people on the estate where i grew up in Camden Town.
